Overview
Owned and operated by its chef, Hou Kong Chi Kei is not the most striking of restaurants, but Chef Chan’s enthusiasm and passion for food make it a trip worth making.
This little shop has been recommended by the Michelin Guide to Restaruants for the third year running. Finding the shop may be a bit tricky, but in the end, it’s all worthwhile. Visitors must try the Steamed Crab with Sticky Rice, Barbequed Big Eye Fish, and the Deep-fried Taro Fish Ball.
Reservations are required and customers must call in advance to reserve the fresh seafood dishes on offer.
Visitors should note that the shop is closed on the 15th and 16th of every month. Credit cards are not accepted.
