Established in the 1970s, Loja Sopa De Fita Cheong Kei is a family-run tiny noodle shop that sticks to its roots.

The noodles made here are fine and thin, firmly pressed by the bamboo shoots at its own little factory located down the road. Guests are recommended to try the soup, which uses prawns and bonito, cooked for 8 hours to create a rich and flavourful broth. Other must-tries include the Noodles with Dried Shrimp Roe (32 MOP, $4) and the Deep-fried Fish Ball with Crispy Rice (42 MOP, $5.50 USD)

While it’s conveniently located on Rua de Felicidade, you’ll be winding and weaving through throngs of shoppers and stalls to make your way here.
