Lin Fung Miu (Temple of Lotus)

Overview

Located on the Macau Peninsula, Lin Fung Miu (the Temple of Lotus) is a historic temple in the city, built in 1592.

Historically, the temple served to accommodate Chinese Mandarins coming from the Guangdong province to Macau.

This history links to the multiple historical and mythological figures carved on the buildings, as many of these elements of architectural design are features of traditional Chinese architectural cultures.
