Mount Fortress

Overview

Situated at the top of Mount Hill, Fortress Hill is a historical military location built to defend Macau from sea invasion. Today, however, it is simply an attraction where travellers can enjoy a panoramic view over the city.

With that in mind, visitors should visit during clear days for maximum visibility. Fans of the Fortress Hill’s history would also find the nearby Macao Museum and Ruins of St. Paul’s must-see attractions.
