Standing next to the old baroque-style Chapel of St. Francis Xavier in Coloane for over 70 years, Chan Seng Kei is run by the 3rd generation of the family.
This simple, open-aired, Michelin-recommended restaurant is known for its traditional Cantonese food and fresh seafood, supplied daily by local fisherman. A Bib Gourmand resto, known for its simple, yet skillful cooking at reasonable prices, the à la carte dinner menu ranges between 150-350 MOP ($19-$44 USD).
Visitors must try the signature Stewed Duck with Tangerine Peel but come early, as the cooking process takes 10+ hours, only a few are available each day.
