Overview
Kuan Tai Temple (Sam Kai Vui Kun) is a temple located in the heart of the Macau Peninsula. It sits close to the old Chinese Bazaar area, which functions as St. Dominic’s Market today.
The temple is modest in design, featuring predominately western-style architecture infused with traditional Chinese elements, illustrating a harmonious coexistence of architecture between the two cultures.
The temple is representative of the voice of the local Chinese commercial sector and has previously played a significant role in the civic and political affairs of the city.
