Overview
Tai Lei Loi Kei is an incredibly famous 50-year-old shop in Macau that specialises in Pork Buns.
Known for its succulent, tender, and delicious pork chop buns, the shop was established in Taipa back in 1968. The owner, Ms Kwok Loi-Ho uses a secret homemade marinated sauce that’s handed down in her family for generations to make the buns. The Pork is sourced from Brazil, meaning that it’s super lean top quality, with little fat.
This restaurant has four other branches in Macau, famous for their signature pork buns.
Visitors must try the Signature Pork Chop in a Pineapple Bun and the Pork Chop Sandwich. Take note that the buns only start selling after 2 p.m. and it’s best to come early, or there will be a long queue.
