Overview
The Tam Kung Temple is a traditional temple located in the Coloane district of Macau. The temple is named after Tam Kung, a water God worshipped in Macau and Hong Kong. The temple features a fine toll roof that is decorated with porcelain figures.
The Tam Kung Festival, celebrating Tam Kung’s birthday is one of the most popular annual religious festivals in Macau. With activities including a grand parade, Cantonese opera performances and much more, it is a spectacular celebration and an opportunity to experience the rich culture and traditions of Tam Kung.
