Shinji by Kanesaka

Overview

Studio City’s Shinji in Cotai by Kanesaka is Macau’s only sushi specialist restaurant to earn a Michelin star. Chef Shinji Kanesaka operates his namesake sushi shop.

Known for a perfection of “kata” (the form) and “do” (the way), the sushi at Shinji combines picture perfect presentation with the traditional Japanese techniques of art and culture.

Smart casual attire is required, and the restaurant does not welcome children under 12 in their dining hall (although they are okay in private rooms.)

Lunch sets range in costs between 688 – 1688 MOP (approx. 86 – 211 USD), while dinners are 1688 to 2988 MOP. A la carte options are unavailable. Guests should be sure to taste their fish jelly with urchin filling and nigiri sushi, which is simply exquisite.
