Established in Macau over 20 years ago, Tomato House offers diners incredible Portuguese dishes in an unpretentious environment.
This no-frills restaurant is a favourite among the local Macanese, winning multiple awards for the being the best ‘Western’ restaurant in Macau, as well as the most popular restaurant in Macau.
Dishes are made with ingredients sourced from Portugal and China, contributing to the kitchen’s emphasis on its fusion of Asian and Western cuisines.
Must-try dishes include the Portuguese Chicken Rice; Bacalhau A Bras; Portuguese Skirt Steak; Portuguese-style Steamed Clams in White Wine; and, the Serradura Pudding.
Tomato is located a short walk from Na Tcha Temple (approximate 5 metres), but it can be a bit tricky to find. Have a map handy to help you navigate or ask locals, who can point you in the right direction.
