Overview
The Heritage Exhibition of a Traditional Pawnshop Business on the Macau Peninsula is a former pawnshop that was later converted into a museum. They showcase pawnshops, a common business in Macau during the 20th century and a part of the city’s history.
Built in 1917, the entirety of the building the Heritage Exhibition sits in is fireproof and waterproof. The building is designed for anti-theft and burglarizing. Over time, the pawn shop shifted into the heritage exhibition that sits in the building today, operating as a showroom to tell the history of its business and pawnshops in Macau.
Other nearby attractions include Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul.
